Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3, community-based, youth driven mentoring (with emphasis on morals and values) project designed to advocate, motivate and accentuate children, especially latch-key children ages 5-18. We strive to develop a consistent and reliable mentoring program to address the social, economic, educational and developmental needs of children in an effort to alleviate and solve issues they are facing today. We are a BIG SISTER to a little sister and/or brother who WILL make a positive difference in each child’s life in every way possible! Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. also serves as a public human services charity to assist in varied multi-power facets such as: power building infrastructures, voter registration, voter suppression and voter turnout. Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. also acts as a liaison through civic engagement and community power to advocate for policies to expand voting rights, voter’s registration, voter suppression, early voting and getting citizens to the polls in marginalized, predominantly Black communities.

About Us! 

Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive Inc. was originally established on August 31, 2020 as an outreach afterschool program for latch-key children ages 5-12 that provided a safe, positive and creative learning center where children can learn and grow together in unity. Recently, Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. was re-established as a 501 (c) (3) organization (September, 2022) to address the need of the founder, Carol Simpson for a mentoring program for children, especially latch-key and at-risk youth in poverty-stricken communities of Moultrie/Colquitt County, Georgia. The name of the organization stems from Ms. Simpson’s mother, Eyvone Simpson, a sweet, caring and loving woman of God who had an infinite love for children, instilling in them (using the Holy Bible) the importance of having good morals and values and to live a righteous life. The organization believes there is a need to enhance and improve interpersonal skills, self-esteem and self-confidence in adolescents. The organization also believes that it is most essential that children have a strong relationship with their parents, teachers and peers; that they develop healthy relationships and lifestyle choices. Ms. Simpson believes this program will help lower high school dropout rates and decrease the likelihood of initiating drug and alcohol use and knows that children benefit from close, caring relationships with positive and consistent role models (Mentors). 

Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. will provide participants the emotional bond, direction, motivation, guidance and support to help them succeed in life. We ae committed to create and establish meaningful and lasting relationships between mentors and mentees that includes caring, empathetic, consistency through role modeling, teaching and advising participants throughout the community using Ms. Simpson’s slogan, “BIG ASPIRATIONS, BIG EXPECTATIONS (B.A.B.E.)!

Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. utilizes individualized and group level of the mentor-mentee relationship on a consistent and reliable basis; utilize mentors who are genuine, understanding, and supportive and who challenge their mentees; and ultimately become a BIG SISTER to a little sister and/or little brother in every way possible!  Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. Meet Our Founder!

For over 40 years, Ms. Carol Simpson has dedicated her life to the safety, success and well-being of children through her employment with the Colquitt County School System (35 years); Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation (15 years); and the Boys & Girls Club of Moultrie/Colquitt County (8 years and counting) and through community service projects. 

Ms. Simpson life-long dream to continue to make a difference in children’s lives and God allowed the dream to become a reality in continuing to cultivate morals, values and good leadership skills in children (the same way her mother, Eyvone instilled in her) on August 31, 2020 when she launched and opened Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive (EPIC), a creative learning center in memory of her beautiful, sweet and dedicated mother, for children ages 5 through 12 providing homework assistance, virtual learning, arts & crafts, outdoor activities and her specialty – teaching morals and values and so much more! 

Because Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive philosophy and purpose believes that children are our most important and valuable natural resource, as well as they are an important part of this city and they are special to her; therefore, in 2022, Ms. Simpson re-launched EPIC as a non-profit, community outreach and youth driven mentoring program. Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. provides an environment that promotes safety, positivity and creativity. It is our mission to provide an outreach to this city where all children can become positive and productive citizen.

We are Expecting BIG ASPIRATIONS, BIG EXPECTATIONS (B.A.B.E.)! My main goal is to serve the children to the best of my ability by changing lives, promoting positivity and prosperity in children.

DESCRIPTION:

Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. is a non-profit organization mentorship program that provides a safe-haven for children, especially latch-key and at-risk youth ages 5 to 18. Eyvone’s Porch In-Centive, Inc. has incorporated its Big Aspirations, Big Expectations (B.A.B.E.) to “aspire” youth with power, prestige and promise through one-on-one mentoring to “expect” greatness!
